[SOLVED] does a p75 chipset MOBO support RX 580 ?

i will but a new video card (rx 580)
does my MOBO (Gigabyte P75-D3) support it ??

Yes socket/chipset is irrelevant to supporting a card. As long as you have a PCIe slot then it will support a card.


The bigger issue will be if your PSU will support it, as many cheap or low power PSUs are inadequate for the RX580. A good 450 watt or great PSU is recommended.

thanks man , don't worry i already have a 525 watt psu
and it has a 8-pin cable which is recommended for the card
