Question Does a pc give beep codes when the cpu is dead?

Pc won't boot, no beep. Already change the psu only Mobo and cpu remaining to troubleshoot.

Cpu: i7 4790
Mobo:Gigabyte H81m-s1
Psu: seasonic 550w

I have already tried reseting the ram, removing cmos bat. etc. Is there anyone who experienced this problem?

The beep codes will correspond to an error. What sort of beeps are you experiencing? Mind sharing the specs to your build like so:

Hdd: 1tb & 2tb seagate
Gpu: n/a
Psu: seasonic 550w
Chassis: micro-atx
Os: windows 10 and ubuntu

Also my last activity was making a dual boot of Ubuntu and windows 10
