I had a new Seagate 1TB and na old 320GB Seagate on my PC. After I removed the old(clicking)320GB HDD it seems like the PC is much faster.

The 320GB passed the DiskMark test but stil after I removed it my pc got a lot faster.

Is this possible? Even if the system(Windows 10) is on the new 1TB drive?

Well, it definitely sounds like it's failing. Only way CDI woudl have reported it as ok is if it's old enough not to support SMART. Regardless, the answet to your question is yes, Windows can very much choke on bad storage.

Actually it was CrystalDiskInfo I used to test the old 320GB HDD and it passed with flying colors. But still it's too old, it makes noises while working and every now and then a faint knocking noise. Maybe that was it?
