Does a Tablet decrease your battery life?

Well I recently got a tablet, and I was wondering if it would decrease the battery life on my laptop. The battery is Li-On

u mean one of those usb drwing thingies? well of course anything that needs power from the usb port will (tablets, flashdrives, mouseys...)

The question doesn't really make any sense. Did you buy some sort of add on for your laptop? or are you talking about that you got a new laptop and its a convertible?

Any add on device that you use with a computer that requires power from the laptop will consume power thus decreasing your battery life.
