Does AMD A10-7700K need a specified RAM?

Hi!
I'm buying a new motherboard, CPU and RAM. And i have decided that, I'm going to buy AMD A10 CPU. But I have read that I need a XMP(eXtreme Memory Profile) 2133MHz RAM for that CPU. It's that true?

Oh yes I'm going to buy Procesor AMD A10 7700K Black Edition or Procesor AMD A10-7850K. What do you recommand for me (anything else besides those two)? THANKS!

Ram type is DDR3. your motherboard specification will tell you.

Both the 7700 and 7850k supports ddr3 ram. So any ddr3 ram would work. If course the higher the ram speed the better. However, whatever motherboard you are using, would also determine what type of ram you can use, so check that out as well.
As for the cpu, well the 7850k is slightly better.
If you are going to be using a cpu for integrated graphics, then you should be fine with the 7850k.
