Does AMD AutoDetect remove old drivers and replaces it with the new ones?

well, the question is pretty self explanatory. Does the AMD AutoDetect software remove the old drivers before installing the new ones?

In an ideal world it would but if it did we wouldn't have driver cleaner software.
It's always best to uninstall the drivers and run some kind of driver cleaner/sweeper afterwards before installing new drivers
