I want to increase the number of PCI slots I have...

This is the only affordable way ive found.. every thing else seems to cost really a lot of money

Are there any other affordable methods available to increase these that anyone knows pls (like under 100 pounds).

I only have 1, and I need to put 2 old cards im planning to buy as far cheaper than the PCIe version

I dont know if I have a VIA motherboard its a dell t5400

no you have a Intel® 5400 chipset according to specs. Won't work. ADapters and splitters always cause problems. But the PCIe version if need be.

First, that item isn't even available anymore from that site. And no, that item only worked with via chipsets and you don't have one, therefore it wouldn't work.

The thing is that PCI slots are assigned resources so trying to split one doesn't work. IT was just a trick they could do with the VIA chips and more than likely would have still introduced problems.

What kind of cards are you trying to use?
