Question Does anybody know how to fix the yellow light issue during post

I have the asus b540- f gaming mobo and gskill trident z rgb ram 3200mgz when it tries to post it just shows the yellow light in a solid state until I turn it off I know of a Memok button on the mobo but I can’t find it (if anybody knows pals tell me ) is there any other fix ?

I am using the Ryzen 7 2700x and yes it’s brand new

What exact Debug LED stays ON (CPU, DRAM, VGA, Boot)?

It is an issue with dram I believe

Aren't you sure? Haven't you located the LED?

Yes I’m sure that it’s the dram it shines yellow sold and that means it can’t post because of the dram

Try leaving single RAM and testing each slot on board. Make sure that the RAM is inserted all the way in. Some require more force.

Well the rgb light for each dimm are working but when I turn on the system the yellow light shows then like 10 seconds then all the light turn on and I put both my of my Simms in the a2 slot but neither work

Have you tested the other slots?

No I thought it only worked in the a2 slot if your using a single dimm I’ll try tho

Try testing different RAM, if possible.

The only other ram I have is ddr3 which is not compatible

Then try borrowing or returning yours and buying different kit. Try also re-installing the CPU and checking for bent pins.

I assume you mean a ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING not a 540. What is the part number of the memory? What size are the modules? All you have to do is go here to see what's compatible https://www.gskill.com/configurator?page=1&cls=1529635169&manufacturer=1524725352&chipset=1532079044&model=1532079165
Also I looked at the manual an I don't see a MEM OK button on that board.
Seems like I have seen a lot of issues with RGB memory modules on the B450 boards, maybe pulls to much current?
