Does anyone have an Enermax PSU
and got ACPI STR3 (suspend-to-ram) working ? Under either Win9X or 2000?
Both phsstpok and myself noticed that after upgrading our PSU to an Enermax (350W for me, 330W for him), STR3 would no longer work. STR1 works fine, but doesn’t kill the fans, so isn’t too much use to me.
When I enable STR3 in BIOS, it seems to suspend all right, but upon resuming, I just get one beep, and then the system shuts down.
I’m suspecting it has something to do with the PSU being compliant with Intel’s new ATX 12V 1.1 and 2.03.
Can anyone else back this up ? Or does someone have this PSU, and got STR3 to work ? On what platform then ?
