There have been some negative reviews about it scratching easily, so I was wondering if there were any similar ones because I really like the look of this case.

Maybe that nice matte finish is what makes it prone to scratches. You can attempt to brush some protective acrylic on top but that usually gives it a sheen. Toss up: Nice finish or scratch protection.
