Unfortunately, I do not have a broadband since there is no internet cable in the flat that I live in. So the only internet access I have is an Unlimited 3 Mobile Plan (UK).

Normally, it works fine when connecting my pc to it using hotspot, but sometimes it just become very slow and laggy. Any recommendation on how to fix/ reduce this problem?

Thanks.

I also tried using VPN, it works for a while before it does the same thing.
I would suspect signal strength, you need to check that first. Anything over -100dBm will make problems, lower is better.
Another problem could be with your provider. Such network is mobile band (same as mobile/cell phones), signal is transmitted from one of 3 towers in your "Cell" and providers frequently switch between them depending on load on each one.
Question: are you connecting to router by wire/cable or WiFi ? Problem could be on WiFi side.
