Hi everyone, i recently checked the website can i run it, to see if i was able to play battlefield 1 on my system, and i passed all their requirments except with the cpu, has anyone any idea if that sites accurate, i can play bf4 no problem, but am not that tech savvy. Thank you in advance.

As I understand bf1 is still pretty new and may need some further updates/patches to improve performance. If the c2q is able to run it at all I wouldn't hold my breath for much more than a slideshow, it's pretty cpu intensive at the moment. Some folks are getting fps in the 40-50fps range using 4th gen i5's which are much stronger than a q8400 and even without considering ipc improvements given the newer tech the clock speed differences alone make an i5 4460 or i5 6500 almost 25% faster.

Here's a brief comparison of the q8400 and a 4th gen i5. More than double the performance over the q8400 in just about every score.

I personally would not try to play an online multiplayer game at 20fps, but IMO it's important to be aware that resolution and graphical settings are irrelevant when discussing whether a CPU is adequate to play a game.

i used

and those are the "estimated" results i got.

tHANKS FOR THE REPLYS, IT LOOKS LIKE A NEW PC IS NEEDED, AS IVE JUST CHECKED AND MY CPU IS A SOCKET 775, QUITE OLD I BELIEVE

yeah.. 775 is just not enough anymore. There are many options for builds. Many great budget builds as well. Good luck
