Does anyone know of a PDF Splitter that Actually Works?

Hi all,

I scanned some important books of mine using a Fujitsu ScanSnap machine in order to make them into PDFs.

I had to scan like 20-30 pages at a time to prevent the pages from jamming in the machine.

My problem is that each time I scanned said 20-30 pages, they were saved as a single PDF image instead of 20-30 separate images which is what I wanted.

I want to split these PDFs in such a way that each scanned page is its own .jpg or .png file. This will allow me to order the pages as I would like to.

I believe this is what a PDF splitter is for (correct me if I'm wrong), but I haven't been able to find one that actually does this job.

With that said, does anyone know of a PDF splitter that actually will actually accomplish what I want to do (as stated above)?

Thank you..

Suggest you check your scanner settings, see if each scanned page can be exported as a single page pdf or do they get scanned and saved as a complete one page pdf. May be a limitation of the scanner software.

As far as splitting up a pdf file that appears as a single page PDf or any other editing of PDF's, Adobe Acrobat is the King of PDF file creation and editing, not acrobat reader but the full version of acrobat.

I use Adobe Acrobat (the full version not the reader) and Nitro Pro, which is less expensive. Both will do the job easily and you may find a freeware program that will suffice if you look. Nitro Pro does have a free trial month if you just need to do a bunch of them over a short time.
