Question Does anyone know what cpu is better

I want to know if anyone knows if the Intel Core i5-9600K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor. Because to me it seems like the AMD is better but i reallocate dont know.

Better at what?

Lower resolution gaming (under 1440P) then 9600K would be better due to the better performance per core however at a higher resolution the difference becomes minimal.

For multitasking/editing the 2700X is better due to the additional cores/threads.

AMD has a better upgrade path currently.




For gaming/editing I'd actually opt for the Ryzen 3600 as it has excellent performance per core and extra threads for multitasking/rendering.
