Wait this doesn't make sense. You don't want to replace the cpu but you need to find one which is replacing it? You can freely change cpus without any issues with licensing if that is what you are worried about.

CPUs rarely die, and I'm reading that you feel yours has died. Are you certain it's the CPU?
