Does anything need to be changed in BIOS after adding more RAM?

I had 8 GB of RAM, so two sticks of RAM in my mobo. I bought the same type of RAM and put it into the other two slots. At bootup I had the option of going into BIOS to configure some stuff for it. Does anything need to be changed after the addition of more RAM?

Your XMP profile might have changed, and some BIOSes allow certain dimm slots to be disabled.
