maybe I better explain the issue. I am not trying to get pciex 3 speeds...I am trying to get the 3 pciex 2 slots to run at the correct speed.

Also, PLX PEX8608 chip onboard for Extreme 4 gen. 3
Note: With PLX PEX8608 chip, it generates more PCI-E lanes for PCI-E devices, so that all PCI-E devices are able to work at the proper speed simultaneously!
If that is the case then why do i have problems getting correct write speeds on my ocz revo drive while using an sli set up.
I have 2x gtx 460 in sli and a ocz revo drive in the 3rd pciex slot (pciex5 to be exact). My write speeds have been halfed in this slot,,,read speeds are perfect. After many hours of trying to get an answer from Asrock regarding the slow speed on this slot I did a few experiments and removed the second graphics card and put the revo in that slot (pciex4 slot). The write speed went straight up to it maximum of 500gbs.
This seems to me that either the slot is faulty or the slot can not run at the x4 speed as is stated on the website.... So the question asked in the opening post is a valid one
Can anyone explain what the problem could be. If it is a faulty board then I need to get it replaced
thanks in advance.
