Does ASUS M5A99x evo R2.0 support DP FireWire 2-Port PCIe card?

Hi everyone, i recently updated my pc components, the motherboard is a ASUS M5A99X evo R2.0, i tought this mobo had firewire connections, but when i installed the mobo i noticed it doesnt have.
This is because i have a external audio firewire device. So i found out that this device is compatible with DP FireWire 2-Port PCIe cards. My question is, does this firewire PCIe card works on this motherboard?

it should how ever if you have crossfire setup on your board it will drop your performance.

Thank you for the quick reply. That's good news for me, im not planning using crossfire, one graphic card is enough for what i do. Is there a way to know if it really works? the audio device is a digidesign mbox 2 pro
