I'm trying to buy a GTX750 from a seller, he then say that it doesn't work with my HPdc5800. I try to look it up online and google search shows nothing of sort.

Gpu full name - ASUS GeForce GTX750 2GD5

Solution

That's rubbish. It should work, but i think what they mean is that the GPU uses a full sized PCIe bracket. Additionally, there is bottlenecking concerns. Your PC is old, and the CPU may bottleneck your new GPU. Your PC is a SFF (Small Form Factor) and thus may have half sized PCIe slots. Just check your PCIe covers and show a photo.

Also, can you list your full system specs?
