Yes, you can use that RAM in the asus p8h61-m lx3 r2.0, because the MB can support up to 16GB in 2 x DIMM. http://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/P8H61M_LX3_R20/specifications/ And if you use the 2nd gen cpu, then you are better to use the intel XMP profile, because all the 2nd gen cpu can support up to 1333mhz only, you need oc the RAM to 1600mhz. If you have the 3rd gen cpu you can use the XMP too.
And one more, if you can find other RAM with cl8, or cl9 timing RAM with similar or same price, then get it, otherwise just get the cl10 one ( CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10).
