Hello,
I was trying to upgrade my pc in visuals. I already have an Asus Strix GTX 970 GPU, but I was looking to upgrade it into the latest big dog in the market, the Asus Strix GTX 1080 ti oc. The problem is that I have the Asus Z-97 motherboard and despite having 2x PCIe 3.0 slots, there are some other PCI slots in between them and this new GPU is kinda "fat". Will it still fit?

Solution
It will. The Asus Strix GTX 1080 Ti has the same length and width of the Asus Strix GTX 1080 and 1070, just slightly "thicker". However, the thickness should not affect the nearby PCI slots as the card will just go over it.

Here's the GTX 1080 (not Ti), in which its thickness already overlaps the adjacent PCI slot of your motherboard:

I'd be more concerned of...

I'd be more concerned of the length clearance in your case.

Thank you for the tips, I really appreciate.
When it gets to the case, I think it's no big deal, because it's a Nox Krom K100, I'm guessing the size is ok, ins't it?
