i was recently looking for a motherboard to pair with my i3 7100. the Gigabyte B250M-DS3H motherboard spec says:
*Support for DDR4 2400* / 2133 MHz memory modules. To support 2400 MHz or XMP memory, you must install a 7th generation processor*
so its says that the motherboard supports XMP memory. does that mean i can choose XMP profile in the BIOS and overclock my memory to 2400mhz if my ram is 2133mhz? or it simply means mobo supports 2400mhz ram with a 7th generation processor?
