I have dell g5 5590 laptop (the one with nvidia 1050ti) and sadly my laptop does not have a mini dp only hdmi is there any possibility to get 144hz without having huge latency loss through adapters etc.

Is this your laptop?

In specs it says USB-C gen2/Displayport. Should work at 144Hz if get a USB-C to Displayport cable.

To learn more, input USB Type C to Displayport.

Another question came up doing research so if i use usb c to connect my monitor will it use integrated graphics card or nvidia? Because it may issue huge fps loss

True, won't know until you try it. I have helped people on various laptop models with USBC video capable ports and it was fine for them. Usually laptop's dedicated GPU display runs through the iGPU protocol so performance should still be available when it is set in performance options. The only draw back is Freesync/Gsync feature in monitors require direct connection to the graphics card to work, and in case for laptops, is rare.

Knowing it's a laptop I wasn't aiming for Gsync anyways 😀 Thanks for your help!
