I just installed Gtx 1050ti on my PC (HP-540me). There wasnt any display and my pc just beeped. Someone told me the reason was that my bios version(7.12) wasnt updated. I was wondering if this could be true??
Yes, it could be the old bios doesn't recognise the new card and needs to be replaced with one that is newer than the card itself. There is a newer bios but I am not sure it will make a lot of difference as its from 2011 still (See: here) and the 1050ti is only new
