does the borderlands 2 run on windows 8??

if yes, can i run it smoothly?
here's my pc spec:
amd a4 6300
r7 250 1gb ddr5 video card
4 gb ram

What is your monitor resolution? If at 1080p, you're going to struggle but at 720p you're going to be fine. You forgot to include the PSU in the specs list. this also leads me to ask, are you buying this off second hand?

what psu? power supply unit?
if that so.. i think it is 700w if im not mistaken. sorry im new to this hardware thing on pc

You got the wattage but we'll need the make and model of the PSU. While you're at it, you might also want to include the monitors resolution or at least the make and model.

and my monitors resolution is 1024x768

That unit looks like it can't even give out 350W of power...if that is exactly the unit pictured, it's an expensive paperweight. If you're going to play at 1024x768 then you can max out everything the game has to offer...

Point to note, change your PSU and you should be fine for any future upgrades.

My answer doesn't change. In fact try and buy a PSU from this tier list with your choice of PSU being as close to Tier 1 as possible.
