does brand matter for GTX 970 ?

Hi ,

Started a build and about to purchase the graphics card im wanting to get a GTX 970 and was recommended ZOTAC as it is lower priced than most other makes

was just wanting to know is there much difference between say a zotac and others on the market ? or should i go ahead and just get the zotac one ?

In all honesty, i would say that there would not be any performance gains in buying a named GTX 970 against Zotac, judging by the company I buy from, they are not that much cheaper. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?catid=1914&groupid=701&sortby=priceAsc&subid=1010 and they offer a 5yr warranty, so sounds like a good choice to me, I guess its like buying a car, it all depends on if you are a badge snob.
