Every kind of 3080 is sold out currently. With the scramble on to get whatever is available first does it really matter which brand of 3080 one buys?

Some are clocked a bit higher than others but any of them will perform well. I'd stick with the major GPU makers, Asus, Gigabyte, Msi and Evga. One thing to note is that while most require two 8-pin PCIe power cables, there are 2 Asus and 2 Msi models, so far, that require three 8-pin PCIe power cables so you need to know what you're picking and have a power supply that can support it.

in General no , it does not matter that much , all will perform very close to each others ... but if you want the best of the best in the market it matters .

But I dont like to rush when it comes to new generation. give it some time.

The ASUS TUF card runs just about identical performance-wise to the FE card, but it also runs more than ten degrees cooler, which is a big deal.

Even if the differences between the various models are small performance-wise, its better to find out which card has the features, looks, etc. that matter to you the most and wait for that card to become available; better to have a card that you will keep for a few years that you are happy with rather than to immediately buy just any card and then wish you had waited a little longer for something better suited to your needs to come in stock.
