[SOLVED] Does CAS latency matter?

Bought a 2x 16 GB 3200 MHz CL16 (16-18-18-36) ram kit instead of 3200 MHz CL14, and I know lower latency is faster, so would this affect performance in any noticeable way?

I couldn't find any 3200 MHz CL14 kits in stock, and even when I did the price was ludicrous, so 3200 MHz CL16 was all I could get to upgrade my 2400 MHz RAM. Is it good enough? Big difference over CL14?

3200 over 2400 will be a much bigger difference than you will ever see in CL16 vs CL14. Enjoy your new ram!
