[SOLVED] Does changing battery will affect intel turbo boost?

Its a quite old laptop but still good for my brother. But I can only play games like SWBF2 on turbo boost. Now battery died and Im thinking of getting a not original one. Does that affect cpus turbo boost performance?

The CPU doesn't know anything about the battery. The motherboard might, which could change something, but I doubt it will.
