DOes changing slot give new HWID

YO. So I just have 1 ram stick of 8gb. It is fixed in A1 slot. Just wanted 2 know if changing the slot will give me a new hardware id.

no that will stay the same.. if you are refering to like if you would need to redo your windows activation.

that will only change (normally) if you do a big system change.. like a new motherboard or something big like that. adding or changing ram will not change it.
