Does changing system locale affect drivers?

I did a fresh re-install of Win7 on my laptop and the language set was US. However, after I installed every driver and program, I switched to UK and also changed system locale to UK too.

My question is, did changing the system locale from US to UK change anything on my laptop? Did it mess up with the drivers installed or the programs (Chrome, for example) in any way?

system driver's would not be affected by changing the region

Drivers? No, they're already installed and do not depend on the locale, only on OS installation and hardware.

Some programs that use your system locale for interactions, connections, language, etc, might have been altered when you changed it, but if you switch back to original they'll work normally just as they will work with the current locale.

No harm done at all.
