Does core i5 6th generation processor like 6600k and 3rd generation processor like 3570s are same...

please tell me that same ghz processors but of different generations have same powers to run games or they have much difference or not so much..that games of minimum requirements core i5 can be run on both processors or not...please tell me what is the difference btw both.. 🙁

6600k is more powerful than the 3570, or any 3xxx i for sure, however that doesn't mean that the 3xxx series cannot run games. They are still enough.

There have been minor improvements in IPC since Sandy Bridge I'd roughly say that Skylake has a 20% higher IPC, meaning an i7-3770K would have to run at 5gHz to be as fast as a stock i7-6700K.
