Does CPU clock speed affect streaming?

Hello!
So I'm wondering if I should go with the 6700k or the 6700 for streaming. It is obvious that the unlocked should be the one,but the thing is that over here in Romania, the k version+a cooler+a z170 mobo is 100$ more expensive. I'm really trying to stick to a budget,so I'm wondering if the ability to overclock is worth it for this particular task.

The 6700k scores higher in just about every category.
It scores about 15% higher overall.
For streaming you may only see slight performance benefits with the 6700k at best.
You can be the judge as to whether that's worth $100.00.

What video card do you have? The reason I ask this is that anything newer than a GTX 650ti on the Nvidia side has shaowplay. This uses a hardware encoder on the video card to compress video. This allows streaming and recording with very little performance hit.

AMD has something to deal with recording as well, but I have no experience with it.
