Does DH55TC mobo support single 8GB g.skill ram ?

I recently bought an 8gb single memory stick but when i installed in on my pc , and tried to turn it on it kept on restarting over and over again . when i checked the bios it showed that i had installed 8gb of ram . but still my windows isn't starting properly . can you please suggest me a way to fix this issue or should i return the 8gb single stick and purchase 2x4gb sticks ? or do i need to update my bios ?

According to Intel's specs, that board only supports 16Gb across it's 4 RAM slots, so 4Gb per slot max.
Am surprised you managed to get it started at all. 2 x 4Gb would most likely be a safer bet.

Can you post some pictures of BIOS? Especially memory timings? tRFC needs to be maximum value

8GB can work for some H55/P55 first gen motherboards even though originally 4GB max per slot
