Does DVI support 1440p at 100+HZ?

So I'm looking to build a gaming PC with a gtx 970 in it, and was looking into buying a korean ( Qnix ) monitor. They're 1440p at 60hz but overclockable to 100-120 Hz. They only have 1 DVI input though.

Would the 1 DVI input even be able to support 1440p at a higher refresh rate than 60?

If it's a dual link DVI cable then you can go higher than 60Hz. I currently have my qnix monitor clocked at 96Hz, you can get it up to 120Hz but you will start to get some skipped frames and so on because you start to exceed the bandwidth that the cable can actually carry. Some people have bought higher quality DVI cables with some better success at pushing the higher frame rates but they can be a little pricey.
