[SOLVED] Does fan speed matter?

I have a fan controller built into my corsair spec alpha case and I have 2 front and one exhaust(rear) fan connected to it does turning the fan speed down cause any problems?

All things being equal, turning the fan speed down makes the temps go up.
I think you can adjust the fans down but I would keep the CPU under 70C and the GPU under 85C (the majority of cpus and gpus anyway).

I just want to change Case Fan speed and my cpu idle is 30c and underooad never goes above 45

Turn the fan speeds down as low as you can while keeping temps reasonable, thats the general idea.
Having fan speeds too high isnt an issue, but there may not be any benefit.

I think you will be fine as long as you stay under 70 under load. It sounds like you can slow them down a bit at least.

I'd say you'd probably like to keep your cpu running within a good temperature range. Possibly 50 - 65 ish.
If you want to reduce your fan speeds, etc. Because of noise or excess power, already good temperatures.
Yes you can do this, just watch your temperatures whilst gaming for the first few session, also don't tinker around and lower any fans specifically lower or higher than others, you'll want the same input/output ratio as before.
