Does FiOS Speed Optimizer work?

Hello, I am curious if anyone has used FiOS Speed Optimizer without any issues? I am tempted to try it but I am afraid it might screw up my setting badly and won't be able to change it(I am not a network expert). My current Fios plan is 75/35mps(although on speed test it shows 83.05/35.33Mbps)

Before you try it, backup this whole registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip

According to FIOS, the changes they make are inside there. If you don't like something, restore the backup .reg file you made and it's back to how it was.

Okay, I could just back it up by just making a copy of that folder/file where it is and put it back.
