Does G-Sync only work with games?

Some people said on my other topic that G-Sync would fix 60fps video stutter problem on 144hz if I had G-Sync.

What video stutter problem though? Never had such an issue with my 144Hz panel.

Read my previous post. Basically if you have 144hz enabled 60fps videos will stutter, but when you set your monitor to 120hz or 60hz then 60fps videos will work smoothly.

There is nothing to read in your previous post. It says nothing other than ''Some people said on my other topic that G-Sync would fix 60fps video stutter problem on 144hz if I had G-Sync.''

There shouldn't be a stutter if you play videos at 60 fps on a 144Hz screen in the first place.

So I'm asking, which problem do you mean? Why should 60fps video stutter on a 144Hz screen?

Because 60 does not divide evenly into 144 as someone mentioned in my previous topic.

60 FPS video is incredibly fluid on a non-adaptive sync 144Hz panel I used, so I'm going to go with: No, It does not make a difference.

I could understand it theoretically, but it isn't visible to the eye. It's butter smooth usually without G-Sync.
