Question Does Gigabyte AB350m work for Ryzen 7 2700x?

Technically yes, but you really shouldn't.
I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work though becuase it's a very low end motherboard with a high end CPU.

Why would it not work. just checked it says it is compatible with 2nd gen ryzens. If it didn't work they would say DOESNT WORK WITH RYZEN 7 2700X right? Granted it isn't the best board for the Ryzen 7 2700x and I shan't be doing overclocking but I should be able to boot and run games no problem?

It's a very low end motherboard. The power delivery might not be good enough for the high end 2700X
