[SOLVED] Does gigabyte b450 aorus elite work without external GPU ?

Hi guys,

I built a PC :

1. SilentiumPC Elementum E2 550W.
2. Gigabyte b450 aorus elite.
3. AMD Ryzen 3 1200
4. Toshiba 1 TB 3.5" SATA III

Everything is lighting and turning on when powered on but I have no display on my screen.

Does gigabyte b450 aorus elite work without external GPU ?

What should I do to make it work ?

You need a GPU because a Ryzen 1200 does not have integrated graphics.

The mainboard's HDMI/Display port outputs would only work with 'G' series APUs, 2200G, 3400G, etc...; wtih no 'G' series APU, you need a video adapter installed.

How much can you spend on a new graphics card?

And what's the use case for your pc? Do you expect it to be gaming capable?

I wanna use this PC for video editing and website designing on Dreamweaver .
RAMs are 8 gb for now and I'm planning to add another 8 gb

I found " Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 Silent Low Profile 2G 2GB DDR5 64bit" for 84 $

Avoid passive/silent models. Get one with active fan.
Bigger fan means quieter operation and better temperatures.
