does gigabyte have PCI slot??

Hello guys short question... I just wanna a know if gigabyte h81ms1 has a PCI slot... If so.. Can I install a xonar DG soundcard in it???

No you only have pci x1 and pci x16 slots, no standard pci slot. But you may be able to put that in a pci x16 slot im not entirely sure.

No, it has 2 PCI-E x1 slots (for expansion cards) and a regular PCI-E x16 slot (for a graphics card). You can either give up on Xonar and use onboard sound (for most people this should be good enough quality), get a different soundcard designed for PCI-E interface or get a different motherboard, which is not a feasible option if you already purchased it.

No. That motherboard does not have a PCI slot. It has one PCI-Ex16 slot and two PCI-Ex1 slots. Rather than the PCI version of the ASUS Xonar DG, you should look to the ASUS Xonar DSX PCI-Ex1 card.

If you're in love with that sound card you can try a riser card that will adapt the slot for you, link below, but it would be economically feasible to purchase a new sound card or use onboard as stated above.
