Does gigabyte z170x gaming 5 support vga by adapter?

Hey guys i wanna get this board for a skylake build and was wondering if it would run vga by adapter because i only have a vga monitor right now but i intend on upgrading pretty soon

This mobo doesn''t have a vga connector on the back panel. This may not matter depending if your going to use an nVidia or Amd gpu.

Are you planning to only use the integrated CPU graphics, or do you have or plan to get a discreet graphics card? That's what really determines any limitations. If you plan to use the iGPU, then you're out of luck. I am currently assembling a build with this board and it does not have VGA output, although a displayport to VGA adapter "should" work, if you get a decent adapter. An active adapter would be most likely to work. Many of the passive adapters are trouble prone.

I am going to purchase a graphics card eventually but will stick with the igpu for while so if there is a way i could runb my vga monitor on this motherboard
