[SOLVED] Does GPU have Male or Female DVI port? Please explain.

I have a VGA and DVI monitor: HP w2271d, been looking to upgrade to a new GPU, maybe 1660... Anywho, my problem is, does GPU have Male or Female DVI port and I think the monitor has Female ports like these so, based on that I'll either have to buy a Female to Male or Female to Female. But I think the first one...

why did you added female at the front? so male to male? btw I have this monitor: hp w2271d

It's female on the GPU, so therefore you need male to male.
