Does GT 1030 work on my motherboard?
There will be any performance loss?

Yes to support, no to performance loss. Whether your PSU supports it or not depends on how crappy it is. Will probably be fine, but the 300W rating has basically no correlation to how it performs if it's an OEM no-name PSU.

You may have issues. It depends on your motherboard, but it's highly likely your mobo doesn't have a UEFI bios, which means that Nvidia 10xx series cards most likely will not work. What motherboard do you have?
