Does GTA V utilize multi core CPUs???

Iv been knwn tht upgrading frm 30FPS to 60FPS depends on CPU power..but based on the recommended specs of 8 core AMD CPU..does tht mean GTA V will take advantage of multi core CPU??I have an AMD FX 8300 OC to 3.6 ghz and i hope my CPU will be good for GTA V..

Oh so my CPU is good enough right for a smooth 60FPS experience(if it is well optimized) on medium or high settings

AMD FX 8300 OC to 3.6GHZ...though recommended says 4Ghz..i dont think there will be much of a difference right
My graphics card is a R9 280X 3GB
