[SOLVED] Does GTX 1050 support DirectX12 Ultimate?

I just want to know if my GTX 1050 supports DirectX 12 Ultimate.

it didn't mention the 1000 series, which is quite wrong because I'm pretty sure that the 1080ti support direct12 ultimate

depend on what you mean by support? hardware no. software driver support yes.

GeForce 10 cards do not support DirectX 12 Ultimate. However, the DirectX API is backwards compatible so you can run games that use DX12 Ultimate, you just won't be able to use any of the features it provides.

At the moment, RTX 20, RTX 30, and Radeon 6000 are the only GPUs capable of supporting DirectX 12 Ultimate. (I'm saying supporting if they can do ray tracing, variable rate shading, and mesh shading)

Absolutely not. But 1060 6gb, 1070 and 1080 can use Raytracing.
If you want proper DX12 ultimate experience then go to 20 series card at least.

I didnt know anything under 2000 series could ray trace? I didnt think they had the cores?

These 1000 series cards don't support RT cores which provide hardware acceleration for ray-tracing calculations. That's why you can't get comfortable fps. Only 1080ti give some better fps with Raytracing.
