Does GTX 750 Ti really Requires 400 W ?

The GTX 750 Ti only uses like 65w, they recommend a 400w because they have no idea what the rest of your system is, so if you have low power components it is possible you can get away with a decent quality 300w PSU. Really depends on your system/PSU, Listing what you currently have would be helpful.

Depends on the rest of the system a good 350w unit may work. We need the full system specs including make and model of the psu.

They actually recommend a 300W, because there a ton of crappy models out there. Stick to known brands and do your research before buying. Enough amps on the +12V rails is what you're looking for. In this case, 20A to power the GTX 750 Ti.

I agree , though I saw a mad guy running a GTX 750Ti on an ACbel 300W having 18 amps on the 12V rail and being 8 years old, I don't know how in the world is that possible.

Lol, 14A on the 12V rail. Yeah you need a new power supply, realistically that one is barely even a 200W unit.

You should change your PSU , having only 14 amps on 12V rail it's not safe.

Low quality.

I wouldn't normally recommend it, but the Corsair VS450 is not quite as bad, it should do okay with a GTX 750 Ti. A proper high quality power supply would cost a lot more. Even an Antec VP550P is +50%.

Yeah 14A is pretty ridiculous.

The cheapest Seasonic I could find on amazon.in is the S12II-430. It's a really good unit, but it does cost even more.
