so i just completed my first pc build today and everything turned on and seems to work great but my hdd is pushed a little farther forward than th screw holes for the cage because my graphics cad a (gigabyte gtx 770) took up a ridiculous amount of room. Everything seems to turn on fine ,but will i have problems in the future if the hdd is not screwed in even if the hdd is still held in place and not moving in my case (rosewill challenger) ?

Solution
No, you're fine. as long as there's no strain on the connectors

However, if you need to move the case you might want to take it out.

There should be other slots lower in the case that it will fit in.
