Does HDMI support 144hz?

I want to buy 2x 144 hz monitors but my graphics card only has 1 display port 1.4 and HDMI 2.0b, and dvi.
What is the best solution as the monitors have display port 1.2 and HDMI 1.4?
Can I use one HDMI and one display port?

What resolution, what monitor model? HDMI 1.4 supports 1080p/144Hz (non-HDR).

1080p sorry forgot to mention and the monitor is Asus vg258q

According to the manual, it only supports 1080p/144Hz over DP or DVI.

Ok thanks for looking into it, do you think that the dual link dvi cable that comes with it is dvi d? That is the one on my graphics card
