Does higher saturation slow down the PC?

Hey! I'm just wondering.. does it make the PC work slower? Or is it dangerous in one way or another? Thanks!

You might consider being more specific in what are you saturating to a higher extent? I'm assuming colors on the screen, which would get an answer of no, it doesn't affect the performance of the PC.
